DB Chart Privacy Policy

This policy covers the DB Chart iOS app and this website. DB Chart is operated by DB Studio. Questions: admin@otiumcreations.com.

What we collect

  • An account identifier. If you sign in, we receive the identifier Apple issues for your Apple account and DB Chart. We do not request or receive your name or email address — the app asks Apple for no personal details at all.
  • Charts you submit. The image you choose is sent to our service and passed to our analysis provider so it can be read. We do not store your chart images on our servers.
  • How much you have used.A count of analyses used in the current period, so the included allowance and subscription limits can be applied.
  • Subscription status. If you subscribe, we record what Apple's signed receipt tells us: whether the subscription is in trial, active or expired, when the period ends, which plan it is, and Apple's transaction identifiers. We never see your payment details.
  • An app attestation key identifier.Apple's App Attest is used to confirm requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of DB Chart. This identifies the app installation, not you.

What we do not collect

  • No name, email address or contact details.
  • No advertising identifiers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • No location, contacts, photos library access beyond the image you pick, or background collection of any kind.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your charts to train models.

What stays on your device

Analyses you save, and the chart images attached to them, are stored on your iPhone and are not uploaded to us. Removing an analysis in the app, or deleting the app, removes them.

Who processes data for us

  • DeepSeekreads the chart image you submit and returns the analysis.
  • AppleSign in with Apple, App Attest, and App Store subscriptions and billing.
  • Cloudflarehosts our service and this website.

How long we keep it

Your account identifier, usage count and subscription status are kept while your account exists. Chart images are not retained by us after an analysis is produced.

Deleting your data

Open DB Chart, tap the account button on the home screen, then Delete account. This deletes your account record, your usage count and your subscription record from our service. Analyses held on your device are removed when you delete them or remove the app.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple manages that — cancel it under Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Children

DB Chart is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your rights

You can delete everything we hold from inside the app, as above. For any other request about your data, email admin@otiumcreations.com.
